These are some categories of Psychos in our families, that think the world revolves around them in the family. I am sure every Nigerian home has one of them, either has cousins, aunts, uncles, brothers, sisters, nephews, nieces, etc.
1. The lunatics who think they own everyone and everything in the family and so nothing should be done without their knowledge and permission.
2. The lazy bones, who feels everyone is owing them in the family and must take care of their needs, at all times…and when they are not taking care of, it’s serious trouble
3. Those who are always spectators, always sitting on-the-fence in the family. They are the onlookers, they are neither here nor there…but they don’t mind their business either.
4. Those who are destroyers, rumor mongers, gossipers, head clashers. They are always busy, they can travel from the UK to China, just to go and lie against their sibling, uncle, cousin, etc. They can be very broke now, but when it’s time to gossip, they can spend their last penny or go and borrow money, just to buy data or recharge card to gossip or listen to gossips
5. We have the oversabis, hypocrites, pretenders. They are always very churchy and can quote scriptures anyhow. These are the ones that are very diabolic in the family and always cry more than the bereaved.
6. Those who are very nice to a fault, always very nice, they can’t shout. They always run away from trouble and can never be caught in a heated argument, NEVER! Most of them are always poor in the family and don’t ever ask anyone for assistance, the rich ones in this category are always taken advantage of and most of them die untimely.
7. We have the first class troublemakers, these ones are always the ones dragging the family name in the mud everywhere, from smoking Marijuana in uncompleted buildings, to raping innocent girls, impregnating a neighbor’s daughter, drinking monkey tail very early till mid night from one drinking joint to another, becoming a nuisance, a deadly cultist, criminal, armed robbers, etc. These ones beat their mothers and chase their fathers wives and concubines.
8. We have the ones who always fight for seniority, you can’t talk down on them, you can’t marry or buy properties without buying them drinks. They are the attention seekers, they can’t give you 50naira without the entire family lineage including your ancestors not being aware of it. Your children must come and live with them every holiday to do house chores before paying their school fees, and the entire family must be aware. During ceremonies, they are the ones on the front role, they even dance more than the celebrants
9. Those who always sell lands and properties owned by their family members, they love to covet everything in the family, including the wives of their relatives and or siblings. Most of them are always diabolic and troublesome. Nothing pleases them
